If you decide to propose in Zion, theres really no spot that wouldn't scream epic or awesome, except maybe the bathroom......so don't propose in front of the bathrooms....thought that would be funny wouldn't it? Beautify everywhere you look, your soon to be fiance anticipating something but NOT in front of the bathrooms! AHAHAHA 

SO sorry, that's NOT what this post is about. This post is about the Canyon Overlook Hike and proposing there. 

There's two ways to have a professional photographer (aka me) there for your proposal.

WAY NUMBER 1- Book just a photoshoot and propose during the photoshoot.

WAY NUMBER 2- Just go to your destination/proposal spot with your significant other taking in the beauty , propose and bam there's already a photographer (me) there. I like to call this second way the paparazzi way.

For this Canyon Overlook proposal, it was the paparazzi proposal. This way gives me all the butterflies because most of the time because of the anticipation and not really knowing the couple. 

After the proposal we did a photoshoot around the overlook. 

The Hike is less than a mile but is extremely popular so parking can be hard to find and the trail can be crowded so plan plenty of extra time to find parking and to take a leisure pace to the overlook. It's a pretty easy hike that all ages can handle, but there are areas without guard rails and cliffs so if you bring your kiddos, hold on to them.
